I used to love riding the M3s to Manhattan (when the AC was working!)
Some interesting points...
1. Commuters interviewed didn't seem to mind the retro M3s returning
2. The @LIRR kept the M3s in storage, almost as if it was in anticipation of the M9s being further delayed.
Meanwhile on that slender riotous island …
